We still haven't heard anything about our next step for Joel except that we are meeting with a surgeon next Thursday at MD Anderson. Joel spoke with his PA yesterday and she is working on getting him a phone call from an oncologist to decide what "dose of chemo" he needs possibly right now, which might be able to be done here in San Antonio. The Dr.'s are exploring a lot of options and we're just waiting on a more definite attack.
J.J. will be seeing a pediatric thoracic surgeon on Thursday here in San Antonio for a consult if we decide to go ahead and have his surgery while Joel is having chemo here. He is said to be the best, and that is very comforting to us.
So much is up in the air right now, but I'll try and give little updates as I know more.
